Visa
for Self Employed and Entrepreneurs
This permit applies to British nationals looking to set up a business in the Netherlands.
The RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) assesses whether the business has a good chance of success and serves the Dutch economy’s vital interests. Applications are considered on a points-based system.

Visa for Highly Skilled Individuals
A visa for those recruited to work in The Netherlands by a 'recognised sponsor'.
Applicants must have an approved skill and earn over a specified threshold.

European Blue Card
UK nationals who have a contract to perform highly qualified work and meet a salary threshold in the Netherlands may be eligible for the European Blue Card.
The holder of a Blue Card may move freely between all EU member states after having stayed in the Netherlands for 18 months.

Reunification Visa
British nationals who have family members or a partner who has been a resident of the Netherlands prior to 31 December 2020 can join them in the Netherlands.

30% Rule
For some skilled workers, the employer can grant a tax-free allowance equivalent to 30% of the gross salary. This reimbursement is intended as compensation for the costs that international employees incur when moving to a new country for their work.
